Yeah. Squier '51 looks good with a hardtail. Squier Showmaster looks odd with a hardtail. Squier Showmaster looks great with a Floyd. Squier '51 looks odd with a Floyd.

Oh, and hopefully I'll have word on fundage for the Ibanez in the next two or three days.

mine went in today, bit of a surprise as i thought it was next monday. going to try and save this last chunk so i don't have to work ALL summer to pay for next year's rent.

this is from what i call the "glory days" of squier.

sure, the guitars played like shit, but you had all sorts of original (meaning non-fender) models and cool stuff like this.
since then, originality has gone down, but the quality of it has certainly improved.

Yuss, but there's been some confusion about my applying up to this point, so hopefully it'll be in within the next week or two. I'll be phoning them tomorrow, so I should know then.

I thought they were in on Friday (for normal people who apply for it before a month from the end of their degree)?

I love stagemasters/showmasters, yet hate most superstrats.

Fran has/had one. He's talked a few times about selling it, and I think he went through with it the last time (I hope not, they're awesome).
