Now, this, is what I would call a good overdrive sound:

Cam Audio, but you can still tell it is very nice.

Lee Ranaldo used the BJFE Honey Bee, which I guess is the original rev. of this pedal. I like it.

Dang that was good, and it sounded so "open" to attack when hit hard. Bjorn & Co. still got a good thing going.

It's really nice, unfortunatley its prolly going to sell for £200 - £250 like all their other stuff.

Hmmm, can't expect it to be cheap.

That being said, years ago I traded no less than $400 worth of used pedals at a shop toward a brand new BJF Emerald Green Distortion Machine, and through the tears I regret it not one bit, although I may not do such a thing again. Though not for everyone, some things can be personally rationalized into being "worth it", if they can really deliver what you in particular are looking for. Believe me, this is no uncommon issue for discussion when dealing with the squillions of emails I get that ask me why I'd suggest that Moollon's __________ is better than Boutique maker Joe Blow's ___________. Strangely enough, the Moollon ReVibe is the frequent item in question for this issue.

Bjorn has been working really hard to make great stuff for some time now, and he's got my vote for the strong effort. I'd peaceably feel fine about those who like the tones enough to buy it pay for what it costs. Let the good tones roll.

-Two cents dropped.

I think he's great, and all of his stuff is original and he has a great approach to design.

That's a really sweet OD, I've wanted a honeybee for ages but I think it's one of those pedals I just can't justify when I got a boss bues driver and an SD 1... and I'm not very good!Bugger it!... I really like the deep blue delay too....awesome sounding pedal, I know nothing about pedal building but this guy seems to have it nailed

I think my favourite overdrives are a Silver Screw Boss OD-1 and the Death by audio interstellar overdriver.
But the Sweet honey overdrive is...Sweet :)
