War of the Worlds is fantastic. It's something you'd want to own on vinyl instead of CD or MP3 or whatever.

yeah, i'm somewhat of a nerd in that respect. i have the OG radio broadcast of that fake newscast on vinyl. pretty creepy shit. i've always wanted to remake it and break into the local radio station and TAKE OVER THE AIRWAVES and freak everyone out.

when you said "hella vinyl." I thought you meant: Zach Hill + Spencer Seim.
I'm looking forward to seeing what that sub-synth thing will actually do, possible use to become turned into effect pedal? I hope so.

Good finds.

dude. them shit's create subharmonic frequencies, usually REALLY LOW END. like under 100hz i guess, which is RUMBLE FREQUENCIES. the ones you feel more than actually hear. steal for $5!!!
A subharmonic synthesizer is a device or system that generates subharmonics of an input signal. The nth subharmonic of a signal of fundamental frequency F would be a signal with frequency F/n. This differs from "normal" harmonics where the nth harmonic of fundamental frequency F is a signal of frequency F*n.

Subharmonic synthesizers can be used in professional audio applications as bass enhancement devices. Popular audio-specific models include (amongst others) the dbx 120A and the Behringer EX1200.

Other uses for subharmonic synthesizers include the application in bandwidth extension. A subharmonic synthesizer can be used to extend low frequency response due to bandwidth limitations of telephone systems.
