I love superfuzzes, but wouldn't want to buy a Wattson because mewithoutus was a tool. I've since got a BYOC Leeds fuzz, and it's ace. I've also had the behringer above, and I really rated it - Fran did a demo a while back. Also look at Boss FZ2's. But look at the behringer first.

Is the Behringer the same kind of pedal? Can you get the same sounds out of it?

The Behringer is a BOSS FZ-2 clone. The FZ-2 descends from a long lineage of pedals that ripped off the original superfuzz circuit, like the Roland BeeBaa. (according to SS member dub, superfuzz scholar.)

'tis a shame he's a twat, those superfuzzes seem to be pretty decent quality considering.
i remember him trying to sell all of his music gear in the classifieds, hah.

That was a really fun build. Loud as hell that pedal. It's better than the Wattson because it has footswitchable tone settings, two LEDs, is smaller and is also not made by a cock.
It made it really fun to make, knowing I wasn't mewithoutus.

i love it. it doesn't get used all the time, but when i break it out, it's fucking wicked. you may have to sue this guy on youtube, he's made something similar, but not half as good as yours.

I know, he's got great taste. It makes me very proud he used my design to make his pedal.
