Neat guitar.

Anyone encountered these / know how they sound or play and whether that's a decent price?

Considering the age and condition it seems like a decent deal considering the Eastwood Airline remakes go for about 4-500 bucks.

great guitar. good price. the pickups are pretty low output, but they sound really nice. the neck is FAT. no fret board
radius, but i like it. extremely light (its a semi hollow).

Also sold as the Silvertone 1326/1327 and the Harmony Stratotone. They usually play well and have a pretty beefy short-scale neck (feels like an old '40s acoustic sort of). The sound is resonant, woody, and doesn't have much sustain.

$325 is a fair price.

yea, I thought it looked like a stratotone.

hmm... that's interesting. this specific model isn't listed on the harmony database; http://harmony.demont.net/name/stratotone

That's the first place I went to as well. It appears to be fairly similar to the H46, the S1420, and the S1421.

the necks are way fat. try before you buy.
