"...coveted by some of the greatest guitar players of all-time. Pete Townshend, Angus Young, Tony Iommi, Chris Robinson, Alex Lifeson, Derek Trucks, Elliot Easton, Jim James, Jeff Tweedy, Moby, Keith Urban, Nick Jonas, Rocco DeLuca. The list is absurd..."

“I need to take a piece of wood and make it sound like the railroad track, but I also had to make it beautiful and lovable so a person playing it would think of it in terms of his mistress, a bartender, his wife, a good psychiatrist - whatever. Les Paul
No, they're American made Gibson SGs with the long neck joint and correct dimensions/thickness, they're like the LP Studio equivalent in the SG line. They're pretty nice if you like SGs and it's my belief now that SGs are competitvely priced with Fenders of equal quality, a smart move on Gibsons part.gaybear wrote:the SG special looks like a high end epiphone, so i'm not so sure it's more than a re-branding in a way?
