So lovely, and it has a little bit of a story behind it. I know I could never bring myself to sell something with that kind of connection attached.

It sucks that now that cool guitar is totally associated with him. That's such a cool Chicago Blues guitar. I like The White Stripes some but not that much.

it wasn't even really broken. the neck pickup never worked. he just always used the bridge pickup.

but yea, I am a fan. the first 3 white stripes albums were excellent. basically they came out of that whole garage rock scene (see: sympathy for the record industry). but dude actually plays blues not just simple fuzz guitar riffs. It's a controversial claim but IMO, what he's doing is a great continuation of traditional american music.

When I saw them during the 3l3phant tour he must have been using the first one, 'cause that thing looked broken down. Excellent show. Some dickfart hurled a shoe at the stage when he'd just started singing I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself and it hit the mic which then hit him right in the mouth. He was pretty raging, but he carried on. There was no encore that night and I reckon it was 'cause of that nobber that chucked the shoe.

Yeah, he went fucking batty on him. Apparently a Seven Nation Army couldn't hold him back.
