Has same wang-piece as my Musima Elgita. I wonder if that was a USSR or DDR design- it appears to be the best designed bit of the guitar!

Cool! I wonder how it plays? Do these things have truss rods?

That is interesting.I think mine is the second version(or third?)version of the Tonika.The earliest version had a different bridge and knob layout as well as a different headstock

Notice convienent placement of jack
Only volume knob does anything Tone knob has no effect and pickup selector doesn't turn.

Thats a cool pic.I have been look for pictures of guitars in Russia from this period but haven't found too many.I did find these pictures of another Tonika in a classified ad on a Russian webpage
