The POG2.

I just purchased a Micro POG a few weeks ago and have been enjoying the crap out of it, but I'm going to return it today and wait for this guy. I really wanted a POG to begin with but didn't have the space to sacrifice on the board.

A POG with presets- NICE. I totally wouldn't wanna be fucking around with the sliders onstage. I fear it's gonna be pricey, the Micro runs at Â£130-160 over here.

The presets are a huge deal for me too. I found myself constantly fucking about with the Micro POG's knobs at rehearsal the other night.

I think it'll be about the same as the big POG. These guys have them for Â£224.99, and they will probably go for $324 here in the states.

Oh, and for anyone that reads this and is interested in purchasing a Micro POG, Pro Guitar Shop has them for $30 off ($179.95) with code MP30 at checkout. I saw it in an email from them yesterday, and only now do I realize this may be why they're doing it.

Won't be cheap, but EHX are really killing it these days. Footswitchable preset changes? YesYes!

I'm interested in the new delays in the pipeline but this looks frigging great.

They are by far my favorite large-production effects company. In the past few years they really seemed to turn things around by streamlining production with the XO diecast stuff, making new effects, and having a killer updated site and online presence. I find Scott Matthews in some pretty dark corners online -- he's everywhere!

fuck yeah cosigned! if EHX had a pedal that did reverse reverb i could easily go all EHX no problem AT ALL.

I woke up today to my phone vibrating, it was a tweet from EHX that said pog2 and i ran to my computer to see it. Looks really great. I can't wait to hear it, and the saving presets is going to be amazing. I might get a pog finally.

i alwayz did want an Octave Multiplexer. the POG & the HOG kind of seemed out of my league; but yeah i don't know, maybe it's time to just swallow my pride & sell ass or something. donate plasma. become a rogue or a scoundrel or something. channel aaron burr or ivan boesky...

yikes that IS nice, always lusted after a pog but couldn't afford, micro pog wasn't really 'it' either, pog with presets is fantastic !

it's so nice to have it on a pedal when there's so many settings you like but when playing guitar it's a bit difficult if you have no programmable option or not the same pedal multiple times for different settings, i like to mess with settings on pedals throughout sets but you sort of have to memorize the pedal and know what settings produce which sounds it's so time consuming

The key difference between things like the Octave Multiplexer, Boss PS-5 and OC-3 (sort of has a poly mode, but it sucks), and DigiTech Whammy is that the HOG and POG are polyphonic; they tracks full chords damn near perfectly. Sell your balls -- it's worth it.

I loved using the Whammy in the past, but I had always wished it was polyphonic. After spending a few weeks with the Micro POG (which I bought on a whim) it had become my most-used pedal. The only downside was having to reach down and twist knobs to change settings between songs, which the POG2 will solve with presets. The attack delay idea is frickin' genius too, something possibly cribbed from the Micro Synth. The two octave down shift is also new; the POG doesn't have that.
