I Got a Jag!! (Picture now up!!) Thanks for all your input..
Hey,
Been a while since I've posted and had the Jag for ages now....but better late than never eh....
Thanks for all your input regarding CIJ or MIM....
After trying out several MIM...I took a gamble and ordered a CIJ (I know, risky)...low and behold it came perfectly set up, the finish is spot on and there's no evidence that it was thrown together by a toddler...and...excuse me those of you who have a different preference...I do prefer to the MIM's I tried...
As for the pups...again thanks for the input people...I bought myself a SD Quarter Pound for the bridge to try out. However, I came into a bit of money...so got me some nice custom pups from Curtis Novak...and oh boy do they sound great. So I never got around to trying out the Quarter Pound in the bridge...which does mean I have an unused, boxed, bridge Quarter Pound for sale (sorry to mention it here mods, but I don't have enough posts for the classified section yet)....if no one gets in touch about it I'll wap it up on ebay in a week or so...just thought I'd give you guys on here first dibs for all the help you have been.
So yeah, love the CIJ, really love the Novak pups and also I replaced the bridge for Mustang one made bu Brandoni Custom Guitars...and it does its job perfectly and the intonation was spot on from the moment I switched 'em over...so no faffing about...
Anyways...thanks again for all the input.

Yep..definitely "Another Satisfied Shortscaler" story...doing my bit to give the good people on here an alternative and some respite from recession, swine flu and Big Brother stories that we can't escapeMaMo wrote:Nice story. Has a, "Another satisfied shorstcaler" feel to it.

yeah, we should all definitely paint our sunburst guitars red, and then make the pickguards fingernail polish paisley.Sparky wrote:It's you. God I fucking hate sunburst Jaguars. You are a fucking moron. I have an opinion and instead of stating your own opinion, you bash my project (which is a hell of a lot more creative than sunburst on a Jaguar).
