You'll probably never need another telecaster.

Unlike GFS, they're one supplier that is, unfortunately, prohibitively expensive to import to the UK from.

Dummy.

A CV tele went second hand on eBay a couple of days ago for £172, also look at Tokais, if you can find any.

yeah, why'd you have to call him a dummy...if you're trying to be all edgy and short with people, it's failing. only i'm allowed to do that.

ha ha ha.

CV tele it is. I'll venture up denmark street later in the week if i can.

Not to keen on the white finish+black sp combo but if it sounds good and feels good it won't matter.

Cheers guys!

ha ha ha.
Hotrodperineum called him a dummy for not taking the SX route, without reading his location.

So in essence: he started it.

NOIRIE: please don't be offended by me calling you a dummy. i didn't even think about the shipping shit. and read right over the L symbol with the curvy top and the line through it.

i will buy you one and ship it to you if you want, but if you have that much to spend, you can get a squier for that. shit, 'round here you can get a used american tele for $600.

good luck in your search dumbells

EDIT: i am a dummy, but in essence, you are a dummy because you skipped over even considering the squiers, and went straight to knock-offs. that is dumb.

EDIT: jimmy, fuck right off. i would never encroach on your comedic path.

LOL...no i was on your side. i was saying that hotrodpenispumper needed to back off of noire cuz he was going guns blazing for no reason.

the ha ha ha was more acknowledgment of my own awesomicty and bitchinballsness.

Right here we have the distillation of everything that's shit about living in the UK gear-wise. We've hardly moved on from those days when there was just one strat in the entire country and Hank Marvin, Ralph McTell and Jeff Beck all had to share it.

If it was me, my first move would be to play one of those CV jobs (I like what I've heard a lot, I just don't know if the neck would be big enough for my tastes). Also, I'd be tempted to save just an extra fifty or so quid; you're getting very close to MIM/MIJ Classic tele money, if you're patient and keep your eye on eBay you'd snag a bargain.

But first play a CV tele and let me know what the neck's like.
