I think I saw a guy in a local band playing a purple one of those. No idea what it was called, but I'll see if it says anything on their MySpace...
EDIT: Nope, not the same guitar. I agree with Jimmy though.

Thanks St Jimmy, good shout on the headstock.
It's a Viper.
Cheers!

no worries dude. it's hard to miss that headstock, with the weird lip that sticks out from it...

Very cool guitar. Loving the angled mini-humbucker.

Played, and nearly bought, one a few years ago. Nice guitar, but very small feeling, to my giant frame.

They had another cool electric around the same time as the Viper called the Breadwinner.

Yes! How does that even work? Maybe it's a single coil in mini-humbucker casing, otherwise the polepieces make no sense.

my ex bandmate had an ovation viper in chocolate brown with mapple neck
it was hot, and sounded good, but the strings often snapped out of the nut for some reason

Could it possibly be a P-90 with an angled bar etc? Listen to this...

The angled voicing seems present but there's also a big whiff of P-90 tone. I'm loving this guitar right now.
