got:
big ass sheet of ply wood i stole from work inside a shelving unit in a stock room
black flowery/birdy material to cover it in to match me amp
carpet tube to cut in half
one half will cover the surge bar in the back
one half will go under the board to angle it
i got a hacksaw but im seriously thinking about going to home depot and buying a small handheld power saw. how much those things cost ? like 40 bucks? i don't need a big motherfucker just a little one.
ive drawn everything out its going to be 16" x 24" to fit my shit.

i cut the board 24" x 16"
i cut the carpet tube to 24"
then i cut the carpet tube in half
one half will be the base of the peddal board
the other half i cut in half again
1/4 of it is going to be a shield towards the back of the board that i am going to drill screws into the back of it and house a power bar behind/under it to keep it out of sight.
wrapped everything using a simple brad gun

Good shout with the saw. I built this piece of crap a while ago, so basic but everything was so long winded with rubbish equipment. I'd like to have a go with decent tools next time.
Looking sweet btw. Covering is awesome lol.

never thought about making it the same width as my amp....that would have looked neat. but pointless when i use it not in front of the amp.
i think i can still fit one or 2 nano sized pedals on there with out any hassle

Haha nice! Great thread.
I'm about to go to Home Depot myself and buy some copper nails and paint.
