it looks too thin for an LP.
the lack of f holes and tailpiece are confusing me.

There are f holes on that guitar. They're just mostly obscured by his forearm (upper f hole) and his knee and the pickguard (lower).

you've never heard junior kimbrough? not surprising.
dude is a master. i had a mississippi fred mcdowell station on pandora (when it first came out), and they kept playing this guy junior kimbrough. i hooked up with a jk station, and then they started playing this band called "the black keys."
and then i got this thing called a mustang. i would give my left nut to see junior live. he died like 12 years ago. RIP

If you were talking to me you fail, of course I've heard of him and his music. I also prefer both Mississippi Fred Mcdowell and R.L. Burnside to him, he's ok IMO.

DUDE, THIS JR GUY IS AWESOME.
I was just jamming on "I gotta try you girl" with the youtube vid. This guy is amazing - like a less corny "Electric Mud".

Don't think I've heard of him. Must try to find some of his stuff.
I've been listening to the Super Super Blues Band a lot recently. As far as bluesy guitar goes, I've sort of found no need to look anywhere else since I got that.
