I has dot studio (glooosss black). not really a fan of the dirty fingers. I was thinking eventually I'm going to have to change them both out for mean/dream 90s.
i thot i was only one! it is super gritty, but i like it. 500k pot keeps the shrill to minimum. i don't have pics of it, cuz it's been back and forth from the practice space, but this is what i want it to look like
i love mine so much. i always wanted a les paul, but could never find one i liked. i played a delonge 333 at musicians friend when they first came out, and i loved the way it felt. sitting down, standing up, it was glorious, but i secretly craved dual humbuckers. i love newer gibson neck widths, because it feels like playing an acoustic (60's shit feels like you're playing a hard elephant dick).
i bought this on a whim for $150 on ebay. brand new. it is stamped "used" on the headstock, but it played marvelous right out of the box. finish was great, and it's semi hollow. i got a dirty fingers brand new (fucking stupid expensive, like $120 or sommit) and put it in, but managed to mangle the pickup selector wiring and neck pickup wiring, so only the dirty fingers works. it sounds awesome. once i get the gfs wired into the neck, i'll demo it (sure you will).
this guitar has bawz that i can't get with anything else. only thing with the body being so wide is if it's hot... it makes your whole gut sweat. i won't sell it anytime soon.
