Bought it this weekend off of Craigslist for 65 bones. It is by far the coolest organ I have owned. My son already learned most of Green Onions. It was a son-of-a-bitch to get in the basement and I am not looking forward to ever having to move it again.

Wow -- nice find. Love the Hammond sound. That's the speaker down there, yes?

Quite a deal, good times in discovery land!
I have a feeling most affordable Hammond adverts are desperate pleas of "git it off me hands".

watch out for some of the free ones, they could be late '70s transistor stinkers and sound nothing like proper hammonds.
an M3 for $65 though? that's ridiculously cheap!

Nice one LDC!
My friend/bandmate Geoff also got a Hammond (an L3) for $50 off craigslist... down the street from my house too, (fuuuuuu!!!) Was definitely a case of "get it off my hands," in fact dude was originally posting it for $30 but enough e-mailed "what the hell is wrong with yous" later and he could see raising the price by a Jackson by the time we got there.
Helped him shift it, fucked up my hand big time between it and his minivan. Plus I should've been the one who bought it, clearly. We both use it a lot now tho so it's coo.
