wierd high pitched squeel

I've finally got round to buying another power brick and have got all my pedals hooked up, at the moment its
guitar

blues driver
|
super feedbacker
|
beringer tremolo
|
whammy
|
RC 20 Looper
|
amp
when its just left without any playing theres this high pitched squeeling noise in the background, even with the guitar unplugged with no gain whatsoever on.
I could also hear a faint tapping from the tempo button on the RC 20 so unplugged it from the chain and all the unwanted noise had gone. why is this? and how can I make it so that there is no squeeling?
Its so long since I last had a bunch of pedals all lined up that I feel pretty useless.

Probably exceeding the current draw of the brick, I was going to link to the Diagoalike I got from johnnyshredfreak but it looks like they don't have it anymore? BUmmer.

I take it the Whammy isn't running off the brick?

nah, its the only one not coming off the brick because it has to have its fancy pants special adaptor.

Mike's probably right, the RC-20 is apparently a 85mA draw and most cheapy powerblocks seem to put out 450mA at most. Although, I can't imagine a few drive pedals and a tremolo would draw THAT much to push the overall draw above 450mA. I had a similar problem, but had a digital delay and pitchshifter on the board, notoriously current-hungry pedals.
Is there a current output written on your powerbrick?

I have a holy grail that is doing the same thing. If I plug it into just the daisy chain (no patch cables) it makes this sound through the amp. That is why I'm thinking it is power related. The sound increases on the dirty channel obviously. Mine also does it with the EH power supply in it as well. Not sure what the problem is. I think the pedal may have an internal issue.

My RC-2 does it - doesn't like to be daisy-chained. Is fine with it's own single adaptor, no squeal.

Yeah its the daisy changing. I'm sure there is filtering stuff out there for such things. Can't remember where I saw it.

some of my pedals are a little picky of daisy chains. That's why the only thing powered by powerbrick is my dls and my tuner. Anything else causes a world of noise.

Just pick up a cheapo adaptor on eBay for a few quid- JOB DONE, ALTHOUGH IT'S SOMEWHAT ANNOYING
