Looking for a pickup

Single-coil sized with some punch and bite like a humbucker (not yet a traitor, please don't ban me), preferably with pole-pieces and shit, available in white, and no more than £50-60. Also, if a true double-coil pickup, it needs to have four wires to allow coil-splitting.

I can vouch for the sjag3's awesomeness when loud and distorted. It's a little ordinary in non rocking out mode though.

Lace's holly grail pups are sweet. Tons of pop and punch and look like a single coil.

quarter pounder vote here.
it's actually got a nice kinda double personality thing. it's got some single style bite when clean but it get's pretty thick when you give it some gain.
the dirty is definately better than the clean though.

Found one you have..
Qtr Pounder. Think there's a tapped option on it too, so you can do off/half windings/full windings should you desire..

What about that? Any good? It wouldn't look massively out of place in my Batwing by the looks of it.

What sort of muzak?
Lil'59 and JB-Jr are both true hum-cancelling humbuckers - used to have a JB-Jr in the bridge on my strat: quite honky and the didn't sound much like the original single coil it replaced when tapped. Alright for higher gain settings, but didn't like it for anything else.
Duckbucker sounds like a single coil (something about 'quack'...) but is hum cancelling. So think quiet vintage fender..
Qtr Pounders are souped up single coils (buzzzzzz) and sound more like P90s - (I've been using some weird tom anderson tappable single coils which are much the same as the SD Qtr Pounders but found a set for cheap on 'bay... ). The tapped equivalent sounds much like a stock single coil.. Good for low/mid gain and they clean up nicely through a half decent amp/pedal rig..

Ultratwin can get them at a nice price, I was gonna ask him to ship me some over a while back.
If you want an alternative to the qp dimarzio make a super distortion single coil, that's what warrior soul use in there strats.

Yeah, but they're slightly larger than the single-coils in the Batwing and I can't be bothered doing any routing or any of that bullshit. My next guitar is a toss-up between a Burns Bison or a Hutchins Doodlebug anyway.

The offer still stands if any of youse guys needs 'em anyway, as I have to go to Seoul a few times a week and could easily drop by. W45,000 = €25.91
LUNK.

I have a JB Jr in my Jag. I like it. If you just want a hum-cancelling single coil go get a GFS. That's what I have in my Hagstrom and I love it.

It's not hum cancelling I'm really bothered about, more that I just want some chumbucket tonez from my batwing.
I can't be doing with Hot Rails because they ruin the look of the guitar, but I don't mind one of those mini humbuckers that fit in single coil routs.
