I was going to say that I don't think they came with flat white pickguards, but it would seem that they do.

IF it plays nice and has no obvious problems it's a no-brainer at that price.

if you're unsure what to look for, you might want to loosen the strings, pop the guard off and have a look at the guts, check for any extra routing. the pickups should be the grey bottomed type. the neck plate will probably have the serial number on it above the F stamp, and it should have F key tuners.

from what i can see of it in the pictures it looks nice. good score if you get it.

That looks pretty sweet. I don't normally go for bursts, but I liek it. $650 is a good price.

Just wondered why you popped this sentence in there ?? The stang will lack a fair bit of sustain in comparison to the Les Paul, was this a concern ?

Nice guitar, I reckon got for it !! :D

Sustain is over rated. How much of it do we really need?

Oops I stated that cos I do love sustain..(or rather actually drowned in feedback) this wasn't a concern but I didn't get the deal anyway! it sure is a pity... Now i'm gonna aim for a jaguar... what I've always wanted. Guess that's the best way to deal with heartache. )=
