Sort of like the first Kings of Convenience with a Scottish bird singing. Or maybe more Nick Drake if he was a Scottish bird. I like it, it's really good.
Ok, biography says that the Scottish bird is actually from Sussex. Which is weird. She definitely sounds Scottish to me.

Very nice.
I did a couple runs through the whole song list in the wee hours of the night and got delightfully creeped out. Although nothing to do with the recording, I have fond memories of Norway's Sissel (Also from Kings of Convenience's town of Bergen) covering the classic Siuil a Run with The Chieftains that came back to haunt me. Nice guitar work too, Ben. Gonna be sharing future songwriting duties as well by chance?

norwegian/scottish all good - thanks both for having a listen!
Will check out Sissel - been spending a lot of time listening to Sofia Karlsson, not understanding the words at all, but loving the sound a lot. Anything with a Bouzouki/Octave Mandolin in it has to be good! What is it with Scandinavian countries and folk?
Songwriting duties are sort of there: there's four or five tracks that are co-written ('midnight moon' and 'out to sea' on myspace are both joint efforts... some other stuff that we do live aswell). Around a dozen guitar things still waiting for lyrics, but as seems to be the case, trying to get someone to write words is nigh on impossible when they didn't write the chords...
