It's not though, is it? It is a JCM800 2204 clone.

IIRC sovtek 50 is the bassman, the 60 is the marshall...

Right you are, I guess I just assumed the 50 would line up the 50W 2204 circuit, but I've just looked at the 50 Schematic and that ain't no Marshall.

That is fucking worth it, Rob.
I have no idea how much these go for down where you are but this is almost half price by Mtl. standards.
And these things are TUBE MONSTERS.

They're a warm clean bassy dream amp. Won't get any real aggressive tones out of it like you would a mig 30, 60 or 100. PErsonally I've always wanted a Mig 50 midget, but I'd jump on a regular 50 at that price.

It's a good deal for a bullet proof amp. My mig 60 is one piece of gear I will NEVER sell. I'd still try and get him down to $350 with cash in hand though. I bough my Mig-60 for $260 6 years ago, bets investment ever.

Robroe needs no amp dirt, he has THE THUNDER ON HIS BOARD.

but imagine the thunder compiled by the natural distortion of a Mig 60... it'd be like a doomsday device.

WE SHALL SEE. What if it just turns into farts?

then you turn the gain down on the amp and it EATS YOUR FACE OFF.

Yeah no problem, I was just wondering in case I ever need to replace mine, which I hear isn't very likely anyway.
