I want a Mike pedal

I need to listen to the samples but I think I'd like the booster.

I didn't see overdrives on your site. Do you have a unique overdrive? Like of your own design? I'd love to love it.

Question.. your site keeps saying DC power and "loving the planet". AC power is worse than batteries? Just curious... I don't use batteries... ever. It's a dead battery waiting to happen.

Saltstorm is a mike only design. I think it's two or 3 saltboosters running through each other.

Well batteries = toxic waste, no matter how you cut it, all the dead ones end up somewhere.

I will do battery power if people want it, I just prefer to gently shunt people towards a less twattish power source.

As far as overdrives, the Saltstorm is my garagey overdrive design, but I have also made a whole swathe of naughty copies of over famous and not so famous overdrives of various sorts, sizes and flavours.

I thought it was a overdrive built up from a saltboost? has a toggly to switch between modes or something.

Could be, I'm far too lazy to look it up. I may have been talking out my ass as usual. But I knew it was an overdrive and mike designed it. :D

Ok..that's what I thought you meant :) AC is wall power. DC is batteries.

I will definately check out the Saltstorm. I currently use a classic Tube Screamer and a Marshall Guv'nor. I don't really know what I"m looking for. I'm happy with the Tube Screamer being my lighter grit pedal but I want something for when I hit the next pedal. For one I want the volume to go up. For 2 I want the "rock" to go up by 2.

just a saltbooster into the TS would be great for that. boosted TSs sound gnarly.

I'll be arranging to pass it to Stewart at some point this week to bring down.

I can wholeheartedly recommend it. There's a whole load of tones in that thing

Both, kind of

Work in Edinburgh, Band in Glasgow, Live in Livingston

The pedal is currently in Glasgow so I'll have to pick it up before dropping it off with you. I'm going to try and schedule this with looking at a Classic Player Jazzmaster I'm hoping to buy... hopefully tonight or tomorrow. The seller isn't the quickest at responding to e-mails

I finish work at 6, so I could meet you somewhere in Edinburgh after then on Monday or Tuesday?

It's very kind of you to arrange this but I'll try and get one built before the fest, if I do it in an unfinished case it should be a possibility.

Sell Crazy practise on Monday so I can drill a case then, and it'll only take me an evening to build, or I can do it Friday morning - I have the day off. Consider it built.

No problem,

The offer still stands if something unexpected comes up in the meantime

Cheers,
