HLYSHTHLYSHT I got my dream guitar

Post by light rail coyote »

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loan from the bank of girlfriend, so buy my stuff in the classifieds and save my ass from whatever the horors of oweing your girlfriend over 2 grand is

BUt this has absolutly everything I've wanted in a jazzy

1 old
2 beat up sunburst
3 block's and binding
4 original parts, specially the pickups and PG
5 those non strat style knobs

And I found it. 0 feedback worries to screw with me though. At least I found the seller's name on facebook, in the same city it's coming from and it's a middle aged mom with a husband names chris, which is the name of the guy answering questions, so it should be legit.
P.S. Buy my stuff.

Ehh, I used my girlfriend's credit card, and from what I've seen at the guitar shop I work at. If you're the consumer you can get your transaction reversed pretty easily by just getting ahold of the visa people.
But I am more than a little scared

did you pay through paypal? they'll only cover up to $1000 if you use a credit card.

ahh.. one of my first ebay purchases was an s4 motor for my a4. paid $4400 on a credit card (stupid, but these motors sell for 7k usually), and it was fraud, and ebay nor paypal could do shit. i lost the money, and ended up having to sell the car just to pay for the fucked transaction. luckily i still had the real s4 to drive, but i needed one exclusively for the track!

again, good luck man, hope all works well. visa. it's everywhere you want to buy a jazzmaster.

that jazzy is AWSOME! hopefully the transaction goes thru well tho. I got ripped 600 bucks about 4-5 years ago on a jaguar baritone. i remember it was some sort of russian ebay scam, i even got a call from some sort of fed office. craziness, i never got any of it back, but oh well, it happens.

WOO HOO I has a tracking number and talked with the guy about its history. He inherited the guitar from his uncle who played in a bunch of band. The guy said some of his fondest memories were watching his uncles play the guitar accordian and washboard all together. He even said he'd scan some old pictures and send them to me.

He even sent it 3 day UPS :!: :!:

Nice work, and cool story.

Now you've a treasure in your possession, and we can expect an endless stream of stories to flow from Portland! Good times.
