couldn't you use the b5 mounting plate? or is that different from an SG bigsby?

the b5 kit is shaped like a horse shoe, and i think a lot of that would be visible with a b7. from the looks of it, the "dogbone" b7 plate might not work because of the mounting length of the b7 (the back mount has to bend right at the body, so i'm not sure where the top mounts would sit on an sg). the b7 fits like so on a standard sg, so i think that the dogbone could work and it would look like a clean install while still retaining the ability to go back to stock...

I mean, couldn't you use a b5 trem/mounting plate? The b5 seems like it'll fit an SG. Or are you set on the B7?

I've installed a couple of these. that isn't really correctly mounted. it's supposed to be farther up. that hinge bit at the bottom should be flush with the bottom of the guitar. I think a B5 would be a better fit on an SG.

i prefer the look of the b7, it reminds me more of the vibrola, but it actually works

Am I the only one that thinks that "Vibramate" sounds kinky?

"The Vibramateâ„¢ Mounting Kit: Designed for tighter applications."

"The quality Bigsby wang unit mounts seamlessly on the Vibramateâ„¢ screw-holes."

"I always use the Vibramateâ„¢ during my solos!"

"I totally love my Vibramate'sâ„¢ tremolo!"

I honestly was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to really say it.

Okay, so step 1, 10, 11 and 12 is just looking at your guitar?
Good instructions.
