im thinking about giving my PA back to my dad for his 60th birthday.

BACKSTORY:
he bought it for me for chirstmas 94' but when i moved away to college he got used to playing his drums down in the basement with it after I left.

when i moved back home from ohio in 2000 all was well but when i moved to buffalo in 2002 i took it with me. he was sad when this happened

i don't really need a 500Wt pa with 6 channels...

what i need is something like those little bergenger mixers, but a powered one that i can buy one 15" cab for. 2 15"s is fucking over kill right now.

im looking to plug my computer into it for computer speakers or the TV, so i need aux jacks on it. im thinking like 4 or even a 2 channel thing would totally work for me.

IDEAS???

*small
*powered
*ill buy the cab later

i also plan on setting mine up in his basement next week, hooking it up in his basement to his computer, and stealing shit loads of stones and beatles albums for him so he can stop wearing out his records

I bought this Kustom PA system in a sketchy drug deal for $20 (plus $20 for green :p) in high school and it has served me quite well for my uses.

At home I use one of the speakers for my stereo guitar setup, but the I use the PA and one speaker at home for a microphone and my keyboard. When I'm at school, I bring the head and one speaker with me as my main dorm amp. There's 4 channels and EQ settings for each. There's also some pretty decent reverb and "tape" control. I like it.

Edit: Just read what you're looking for. *shrug* Just get a smaller PA?

Yamaha Stage Pass range might be worth considering...

i know two people that have had kustom pa systems, one was a low end and the other high end,
at first they both worked alright. but after about a year, the lower end up blew up, and the higher end one just stopped, and the speakers that came with the package blew
