I have this SD-1 clone that I dig a lot.

I also have been using this fuzz face I built based on the crest audio reissue from the late 80s (so the one that John Squire used).

My modded russian muff has to be the most used pedal i have. For bass i would say the woolly mammoth is defiantly the best bass dirt box.

yea, it's a Rockson just like that picture. it's like a straight rip off. $11 used on ebay. they seem to change the brand name around every so often. I also, have a compressor just like it that's a "Maxtone". and I think the guy here, dezb1 has a chorus that's a "MAXX".

I only wish that Ben could live up to Aen's reputation.

Saltbooster or Boss ODB-3

Completely opposite things, obviously, but both are great.

altho paul, i have found that the saltbooster maxed out with my amp at low volume is the bee knees for guitar.
and at lower settings its great for bass!

I've only ever used it for guitar, where it's great for a clean boost at about twelve o'clock, dirty boost about half one, and filthy trashy gain above that.

The ODB-3 is brutal whatever way I use it. It makes the five watt Epiphone Valve Junior Head sound like, I dunno, something very heavy, a wall of Black Sabbaths or something.

man you gotta try it with a big bass rig.
you will be suprised, it keeps the low end, and adds a great "growl" to the overall tone of the thing. keep in mind im using a 99 mexi jazz bass neck pup only with tone all the way up.

Box of Cake - essentially a Crowther Hotcake w/ Bluesberry mod, "full gain" foot switch, and post gain Boost. At the moment its my "Channel" footswitch, Off for clean, on for rythm, full gain for fuzz tones, boost for boostins. It also sounds super sweet with a booster hitting it.
