Help with wiring needed.

Hello,

I am rewiring my copper/ostrich Jagmaster guitar for three humbuckers, three on-off switches (DPDT), and a volume. This is definitely not my specialty; and this kind of work, if it involves a lot of wiring, drives me insane.

For some reason, I cannot get each switch to control just one individual pickup. Instead, one of any three switches turns all three pickups off. This must be a simple error, but I cannot seem to get it working properly no matter what I try.

Also, I ended up removing the proximity control/booster for now, which simply has an input, and output -- I might want to add it again later. How would I wire the input and output into the this?

Is there anyone here who would be willing to draw a quick schematic as to how this should be done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated -- this is driving me absolutely nuts!

On explanation would be that you connect the hot lead of the pickup to ground when shutting the pickup off, thereby sending the entire circuit to ground.

Heres a diagram to troubleshoot against:

good luck!

Thank you.

What if I am using DPDT switches? Would it be the same except the other center pole would go to ground?

This is what I originally used.

Never mind, I think I have it figured out.
