Anyone try this out or heard about it. Sounds interesting.

I've tried it a few times... I think it's good... maybe a bit of a one trick pony though. It sounds like it does in this demo... regardless of the guitar you're using.

My goodness that's a sweet sounding fuzz; I think octave fuzzes must be about my favourite fuzzes. Not octave down though; my fucking word how I disliked that Bluebox...

In good old Sweden we have a good old saying roughtly translating into: Individual taste is like a butt, split/divided (you get the drift)....
To me this sounds just awful and more or less unusable, but I bet it is a goldmine to others... not your typical meat and potatoes pedal though...

I think they're pretty badly overpriced. I was interested in this originally but I just bought a French Toast instead innit... you can switch the octave-up off to just have fuzz (so it's really working for that pedalboard real estate) and the tone/dist/level scheme is always friendly to see.
It's a visual match for the one he used at the Band of Gypsies Fillmore dates (on the Live @ Fillmore East album cover too), but Mayer says there were more than 10 of those wedge enclosures and that he and Hendrix were always abandoning the older ones for revisions. This one is based on the Experience Music Project's example, which Mayer says may not have even been Hendrix's (he gave them to a few other guitarists too).
Considering it's just an octave-up fuzz I'd just go for a cheaper option. You can TOTALLY get the entire Hendrix Octavia/Octavio vibe with a $20 used French Toast, I can tell you that much.

this pedal sounds pretty nice, not worth the money, I would definitely consider getting a clone, The PGS demo does not do it justice.
