I had a great excuse though, my daughter said she wanted a guitar. When it arrived today she was so uninterested, it was like I got a big box of broccoli. I Win!

Although I *do* have kids Aen still wins taste-wise - there's a Washburn Hannah Montana electric stashed under the wardrobe for my 7-year-old's Christmas present. I'm going to give it to her with a rattle can of black paint and say "you know what to do." It's basically a 3/4 scale Tele I got for 29.95 so it can't go wrong really.

Where did you get it for $30? I've been wanting one for a project.

It was a one-day special offer from an online retailer here in Australia - snapped it up since I'd been looking for a 3/4 scale electric for her for some time.
I can take any pics or measurements you need. Basically a Tele with really, really cheap hardware, maple neck with a scarf joint in the middle (!) rosewood fretboard so dry and unfinished it looked like masonite board when I got it. The nut looks like a plastic comb.
But it does have a 4-bolt neck and a truss rod, and everything is sound and straight. Upgrades will follow!

there is no gas here, gas is for snooty internet guitar forums, we are load of drunken nerds.
we say gay.
gear
acquisition
yearning.
you must edit your post to pronounce your gayness.
on a side note, aen, that neck looks like it needs a vintage tint.

Devi Ever Rocket that was owned by Aen at one point is en route to you as we speak. Has a few of his dogs hairs still on it.

Velcro + my house = near permanent mojo.

PAT- you're always flipping such great guitars. I'd love to work out a big trade with you. If you'd consider trading for that baritone jag... I'd make it worht your while!

no, they are the same shape as the 90s duos. they're not really offset like a duo II. completely different shape really. I tried to size up mine with a 70s MM pg I had and it wasn't even close.

you could probably use a 90s pg though, and maybe some kind of control plate, uhh maybe a jazz bass? you'd have to investigate it.
cogito ergo sum...thing or other...
