I hope everyone thinks that way. So next year when gibson realizes these aren't selling I can pick up a black/red one for 400-500 bucks.

not a total fan of the guitars (though they're nice in a wierd way), but damn, i love the rolling stones song. quite possibly my favorite of theirs.

so yea, i just realized that it appears that they dyed thin peices of wood, glued them together and then with the normal contouring it came out all tie-dye.
if that is the case then hooray for plywood multi colored contruction. I can't wait to hear the snobs talk about the fantastic tone of a set neck gibson before they realize its ply contruction.

it's obviously plywood. but, as was mentioned in the other thread about this guitar, so are ES-335s.
