stupid queston on classical guitars

just got my first guitar back from the folk's abode. got it in 8th grade and still love it. it's an old Silvertone classical guitar, with all sortsa damage done to the top peice due to my love for metal in the 80s.
anyhoo, it's got intonation problems now, as i go up the neck. i can fix this on electrics (though not well_, but have no idea how to adjust anything on a classical or an acoustic.

alot of those are made with flat frets and an even bridge.
which makes it great for certain players.
BUT~ id you find intonation problems then you must compensate the bridge or replace it completely, your best bet is to take it to a good luthier to get checked out.

replacing the bridge would be just fine, if that's what it turns out to be.
it's funny, since it's my first guitar ever, i wanna keep it as 'original' as possible, so even though one of the tuning pegs is bent, if it doesn't effect the sound, i'm not gonna replace it, haha.

right on, gabe. i recently pulled my old squier strat out woodshed to noodle with. i did all kinds of horrible things to it like emg's, stickers, nail polish, and even a dropping a pentium processor in the bridge route. part of me wants to at least clean it up, but i'd rather it stay as-is. still plays good.

i wish i had my first electric. it was a peavey 15. cheap as hell, but damn playable. some asshole stole it at a party in san diego. =[
