Yeah it is a model 6006 Banjoline.It has a 381 body style, but the "carve" is on the front only. Look at how skinny the neck is.
They also made a model 6005 Banjoline that had a 360 NS body style with checkered binding on the back. They were featured on the cover of the 2008 Rick Resource calender

I don't much like Ricks. That second banjo looks a hell of a lot better than the top ones.

bantar makes more sense. banjo is a percussive instrument.

maybe not. but i think the tone comes from some strings over what amounts to a snare-less snare drum
