its got a swiming pool style route and set for a strat style tremlo, but has been blocked in.
i'm going to make it a semi hard tale

out of the box.

gave it a quick sand to even out the glue, and remove most of the remaining paint that is on it.
and a little bit of a mock up.
will need to add a hole for the toggle switch on the pupguard

this is sort of what i'm thinking for concept..
stain it with a black stain, then do sort of a burst with a blood red.
however i'm open to other ideas.

and i forgot to put a control plate on it.

squire cyclone. Intonation may be messy as it's intended for gibson scale.

Edit: oh you're rebridging it anywayz.... neva mind, lol.

I like the color idea actually. And I love the gfs top mount trem, about time someone used one.

you've only been suggesting it for every guitar that comes in here

my tele may end up with one depending upon what i think of it.

or i'll just order two at once.

Luv those necks dotses! I have one of those trem. Haven't tried it yet, but it's a neat look for cheapoz.

Blood burst is from what to what color?

I like this pic with the old wall, white chair, and black contour.

i was thinking it would be from bright to dark red into black then fade to the natural finish around the bridge hardware

its why i'm staining the body with black stain after i fill in that remaining hole from where the original bridge was.

you're not going to darken the area on the back before you burst?

i sanded off as much of the glue that was there, but the funny thing is that glue doesn't hold stain

also i'm going to stain over part of the burst as well

Sublimedo and I both have, I believe his is on an Ibanez GAX or similar.
Mine is on my "debauchered seventies" style epiphone g-400 along with a pantload of other GFS parts.

and also its obvious i have no idea what i'm doing

so once this dries, going to put on two more coats of stain, and then spray the outer edge (after the stain dries and cures for a week)

i'll think about it after i spent a bit more time.

worst case sand down, start over, and make it black/grey or blue with comp stripes for kicks.

someone do me a solid and mock up some images of that.
