I'm sure most of you don't remember this, but at the end of the May I've bought a Toronado from HotRodPerlmutter. The shipping was a pain, and the guitar finally arrived to my place few days ago. I was waiting for this guitar for the whole summer.

Overall It's nice and beautiful guitar. I especially like the finish - it has some kind of green tint in the daylight (not seen on photos). I'm not sure if it sounds good or not (most guitars sound good to me), but I like it - it can do really nice cleans in the neck and neck+bridge positions, and sounds nice with fuzz/distortion in bridge position. The neck is thicker than my mustang (not a surprise) but I'm getting used to it very fast. I've put 11-52s on it, going to try some low tunings, and also the AEN-tuning, but for now I'm sticking to standard Eb.

I totally agree, however I didn't even think of such modification before. Will consider doing this some time later, the black parts really don't fit that well with white speedknobs (which are awesome).

glad you got it finally man! it looks so good. i miss it and then i pick up my jagmaster that i bought to replace it, and that feeling goes away!

i'm glad you like it. the pickups are super nice, it was never lacking in that department for me.

definitely do a demo of it, with all your fuzzy tones you like.
