well, I didn't say it would look fucking awesome, I just said it'll look alright. as long as you have black humbuckers no one will even notice. there was a thread about this like a month ago. fran explained the whole deal.

you are just going to have a fucking cover, with some holes and nothing sticking thru em. it will look dumb
It looks fine. Unless you're looking at it with a fucking magnifying glass it doesn't really notice. My jazzmaster has a bucker in the neck position under a stock black cover.
the idea is that one set of pole pieces will be covered, but the other will be exposed, yeah? i mean, in theory it would be like taking a single coil cover and a robroe, mashing them side to side, and then putting two single coils underneath right?
