Just wondering if this is worth going for ... I'm heavily thinking about getting a bass guitar the next months, after selling my Squier Bullet. I'd prefer vintage (us, japan) or Fender Japan to current Squiers and I want shortscale ... this is not shortscale I guess? What are these worth in european prices? (means: $ + 20 % 1:1 in €)

This is standard scale, don't let the mustang full you. All of the sunn guitars were mustangs, the strat and the p-bass.
It's a cool piece, but it's no better than a squier.

It'll be as good as a older Squier- I had a Sunn 'Mustang' Strat back in the day and it was a pretty solid instrument.

Thanks for commenting. But since it's Precision scale, I won't bid on this. Interested to see for how many it goes, though.
There is also a Squier Vista Musicmaster Bass in ebay currently. That would be what I want. We'll see how high it goes. If it stays around 200 € I may be in.

It's a typical vintage cheapo, but the neck looks pretty good, and the rest can be fixed. if and when I buy it, I will show it

All the Sunn O))) guitars and basses I have seen had plywood bodies. I would steer clear.

that thing is getting expensive. it's over 200 € now what would have been my limit for it.
