for that much you can get a 59 les paul all og, and in great shape.
not that i would buy a les paul over that, i just think if i was going to spend that much, the lp would be a better investment peice.
or about 40 vintage jaguars

i think the normal martin scale is 25.9
i remember there was a fretboard template in st. lious labeld, "martin 25.9" and when i asked someone about it they indicated that was the normal martin scale length.
