Ten quid of parts, an old Marshall footswitch case and a few hours resulted in this pseudo-useful box:
The most bemused pedal on the market

More of a tool for foolin' than a massively inventive design, but it's pretty fun- definitely coolest with a delay box. Will finish it off with some left-over grey spraypaint and make him look even more "50's roboty".

Pretty cool. I thought it worked best with the Pulsar.

Dude this sounds fucking amazing. I may well rip off the idea for a product, maybe with your FACE on the box?
This demo would sell the shit out of it. Loved both the Pulsar and the Delay.

i'm really liking that
Doog has the skillz
how easy would it be to but both a momentary switch and a normal on/off in the circuit?

Cheers guys! The only slight downside is that you need to push this particular switch down enough for it to click just like a regular footswitch. A smoother clickless switch (like you find on tap-tempo boxes) would work even better, although I'm not sure if DPDT can work like that.

Haha, really? I'd be down with a design of sorts, maybe not my face though- you want to sell them, right?
I guess it'd be possible Prog-O, just put 2 of the switches in series like:

Yeah Doog, all the momentary DPDTs I've used are like that, I think all non electronic switches tend to be that way.

Such a simple wonder with great live potential, and I'm sure it would be crazy with some fast vibrato burbling as well.
Now for me work on my Doog riffin'.

if you do it get the most rugged switch possible. you stomped that thing like 200 times in 2 minutes

How does Coxon make that BRRRRRRRRRRRR sound at the end of his riffs in the Blur song On Your Own? You could get a sound like that easy peasy lemon squeezy with Doog's new wonder pedal.

this demo is so good mainly because doog is an awesome player!

I really like it. seems like it would be great into a flange or tremolo pedal, even a really wet chorus. Love it. Can't wait for the MBM Doogifier!

A fast delay with high feedback and full bypass (no trails when you switch it off) will do it.

Bringing Doog's tinker back to life: here's an interesting twist on the same idea, and what I thought Doog was on about when I first read this thread...
