If it's got a half decent neck on it, it's worth it just for a beater. But I bet you could get a nice refinishing product out of it if you custom cut a non retardo pickguard for it.

Yeah I'm down with that pickguard. It looks like an Autechre album cover.
The neck is the big question mark here. Going by the pictures, I think it's gonna be bad news...
Still, for 80 bucks it's totally worth a try.
