Thats what im trying to do with this Westone Warlock/ESP/Lolz guitar.
Story...

Guy next door wants a Warlock shape guitar, he can barely play and has no money. So i tell him it would be cheaper to build a parts warlock than me actually make him one. trew Story.
Westone Warlock body arrives (fully loaded) £15.00

So, i cant figure out what scale this damn thing is until i unearth some old westone pics on Yahoo Images.. it takes a 24 fret neck.
I then purchase a 24 fret neck (25.5 scale) made by ESP £20.00

Its short once it is snug in the neck pocket.
So now im looking at replacing the Strat bridge with a hardtail type that will allow me to cover the trem route and move the bridge back .5 so it will intonate. FFS.

Does anyone know where i can pick this kind of bridge up? Axesrus do one that should solve everything but if there are other options i'd love to know.
I wont be defeated on this.

An uninteresting project for this forum but i thought i'd post the conclusion as i learnt a few things along the way.
For starters, the Hard Tail Strat bridge covers 98% of the route made previously for a working Strat tremolo. You just have to 'touch up' a small piece of the infill on the lower side (arm side).
I made some infill pieces from plywood, cut them close to size then sanded them to fit tightly, glueing them in and leaving them for 4 days. The pieces are solid now.

Another thing, it seems obvious but i overlooked this... always try to find a spec. on what you are using from the original source. I purchased an ESP 24 fret neck and presumed it was 25.5 like the majority of SuperStrats, but it was'nt. After wondering why it would not intonate i looked up on ESP's website to see it was actually a 24.75 24 fret neck. Could have saved a lot of time by doing this in the first place.

Anyway, i created a Monster for the neighbour, Westone body, ESP neck.
Total Cost = £45.00. It actually plays nice and sounds good as well.

Looks like a nice clean job. Did you have to touch up the paint to hide the trem fill?

Yeah, just on the edge as mentioned. Perhaps 2mm x 6mm, i did it with a permanent marker

They are the stock ones. For some odd reason Westone used two different pickups in their Mockingbird and Warlock models. Also, these are not the sought after Westones, they were made after the 'golden age' away from the Matsumoku factory and sell for very little.

No I'm not scared. I have no idea what series it is. I can email him and ask. Would I be able to flip for a considerable amount?
