EHX Cathedral Deluxe Reverb

Post by jimib »

I just got a thing in the mail saying to collect a package from the post office.
It's my EHX Cathedral Deluxe Reverb and I'm pretty excited, as my old Holier Grail is slowly dying.

I may even do a demo for you guys but I fear it won't be upto the SS standards and I don't really have the best equipment to do it with.

DO AN DEMO
I'm tempted to pick one up, demo it against the rv-7, and return it

theres probably something in the resources section: http://www.shortscale.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=2
its a simple process but getting everything set up can be a hastle
Video Camera/Web Cam for video and picking up chatter
Close Mic the speaker with a microphone, SM-57s are great, i use a cheapy
Audacity to catch the speaker's audio track
sync the mic's track to the video

Cool stuff, do a demo!!!! I have a Holy Grail Plus which is a great bit of kit (gives more control of Flerb to the point of it being a usable FX). Love to see the Cathedral Deluxe in action.

Please do! I got one of these and absolutely love it. Could not be more happy with it. It's a shame that people are judging it on the few crappy demo videos out there. I wish Pro Guitar Shop would just do one and get it over with.

There we go, a good audio quality demo of it finally. I thought gearmandude hated reverb?

He still Hates reverb. But He must get lots of requests for it. He did the Holy Grail Nano vs Holy Grail.

He did a cool shootout for me between the old EHX Worm and the new XO Worm. I ended up getting the XO Worm and love it.
