Hi, I finally had chance to take a few pics of the awesome purple saltbooster pedal that Mike (the very talented young gent) made me.

Clearly I need a commision.
Two saltboosters in a pedal will do Mike, as long as they make that sound I get at the end of the video.
But seriously, normally I'd probably be like "why does this warrant a new thread?" but there can never be enough pictures of the purple saltbooster.
I'm also ashamed of my clean tone in that demo, I think I was running the TT quieter and at lower gain than usual for some reason.

Good stuff. It didn't come out perfect because when I laid new primer it reacted with the old lacquer for chemical reasons I don't understand, so consider it free.
It looks good, there's just a couple of imperfections like this:

Yeah I paint all the boxes, I generally just use automotive paint as it's all I can get hold of easily.
This was a surprising find, I also have a NEON pink colour which is a paint colour use for marking roads for roadworks I managed to score. I wonder if anyone is man enough to as for a pedal in that colour?

When I've saved some pennies I definitely want a Pink Pedal of Power Mike... Just lacking funds at the moment hehe
But I was thinking maybe some kind of tremolo, but as well as the normal on off switch, would it be difficult to have another button that you press and hold down, then releases when you pull your foot off again... like the one on the beard that you did?
How plausible do you think that would be to build?

So you mean either of the switches could engage the trem?
I'd have to have a think about it to see if it's possible.

Well one switch would be the normal on / off switch.
the other switch would be press on, then spring back up (to off) when your foot is taken off.
So the second switch would be to get a tremolo burst whenever you need it.
But as I say ... I wont have any money spare now for a few months. Just brought the mustang so cant warrant any more purchases for fun guitar related stuff for a while now
Just wondering if it would be possible

Off the top of my head I don't think it is I'm afraid, since if the on/off switch is in the off position, it's holding the input and output jacks connected together, regardless of what you do on the burst switch, and vice versa. I'm afraid it's an either/or thing unless you have a toggle switch to determine which of the switches is active at any point in time.

You should have upgraded Noirie to the cool LED bezel thingy as well. They really are useful, 'cause they sort of channel the light up, if you have a bright LED without one the bastard thing shines everywhere and gets right on my tits.

Would have involved me waiting until I was over my folks and drilling it (plastic bezel is 6.5mm, metal is 8mm), which would have delayed the thing.
