weird delay sound (voltage?) - help? VIDEO INSIDE

hey guys...

well not too long ago we (our band) played at a music festival here in town. i used my usual pedals, powered by the PowerAll unit. but my old Ibanez CD10 Delay Champ (analog delay) started behaving and sounding weird.

listen/watch here:

you can hear it VERY clearly beginning on minute 2. it's that swooshing delay thing, i had to eventually turn it off.
now, in retrospective i think it sounded über-cool... but, how could i achieve that sound again?

i was thinking it was maybe some voltage problem or so... but, why wouldn't all the other pedals "fail"? and the PowerAll is SUPPOSED to hold a steady voltage.

any idea what could've happened? i REALLY like that swooshy thing...

thnx,

Pat.

ps: excuse any crappy playing mistakes...

oh lemme see if this works:

Strange!

I've heard time changes and stuff like that happen when starving a pedal, but not quite that dramatic or intentional sounding. Have you heard the pedal with a dying battery? That would be my first thing to try.

*edit*
PS I would like to tour Mexico with you and your band. Provided I can get burritos like every day.

HA! yeah first thing i thought is "man i might get myself a power struggle"

the other delay (old yamaha dd-100 digital delay) behaved normally, as all the others...

thnx,

Pat.

you'd eat as much mexican food as a manly man could. there's MUCH more to be discovered than just burritos... (insert drool icon here)

sometimes in those power chains some pedals will be getting the right MA while others do not, or some pedals wont sound obviously different if they arent gettign the "required" MA. I don't know for sure, obviously.

A few months ago I discovered the Supermarcado Mexicano in Eau Claire, and like a week ago I found out they had a restaraunt in the back. YUMMMMMM
