I say with Iceybomb, and Iceybomb is all there is for now. Details to follow. For those unaware, it's ex-stewart, hurb and some guy who used to post here. I think I was told it was a 67 before I bought it but I can't remember for sure.

the one at the top's a master on/off, there are 2 pickup on/off switches, a sort of bass cut/tone switch thing and um... i can't remember what the other one does. a volume cut or something.

Fucking hell I need to wake up. I saw that and though, "Oh, Stewart has one just like that." Then I remembered that less that 5 seconds ago I'd read James say that he bought Stewart's.

Plus when I was looking at it Stewart told me what he was selling it for and it was a great price.

Hurb got it from Mr.Mustache.

I played it for a few minutes when he still had it. Tried to buy it from him too, but he'd already agreed to trade it to Hurb. Nice buy, I love that guitar.

Nifty! Have you actually got the trem to float? Also does the rubber stuff on the string retainer help in any way?

The rubber bits look like rollers but are static (except the middle one, which looks like it should be static but is able to move, I think the string tension holds it still though). I think all they're doing is increasing the angle after the nut, nothing that a lower metal bar wouldn't do. I noticed that on pics of other IIs they just have a thin metal bar there.

The trem is floating, though I did nothing to set it up. I stripped the bridge down to clean it because I need to change the intonation (woiund G and heavier strings) and to do that you have to pretty much remove the saddles anyway. I was going to strip the trem down to have a look how it was functioning but all of the metal was very clean and it was working fine so I though I'd leave it as is.

There's roughly the same movement each way but I found last night that if I go pull it up it will sometimes make a slight creak like the strings are slipping but perhaps its an unexpected movement in the spring. The odd part was that sometimes the notes would change to be sharp, and they would change differently with the lower strings changing more than the higher. So I think it's a little bit of movement with the spring. But it was yesterda I restrung it and I didn't spend much time stretching the strings in so perhaps it is exaggerated by that.

i always found the trem invited heavy-handedness so i tightened the screw slightly so it had a bit less movement, maybe that's knocked it off a touch.

although thinking about it, i don't see why it'd matter once it's strung up.
