Good Guitar Parts Suppliers in the UK?

Post by Mungodora »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows any good suppliers for guitar parts in the UK. I'm new to building guitars but wouldn't mind taking a crack at it, it looks like fun.

I know I could just Google suppliers, but I wondered if anyone has had any experience with a company, and would recommend them.

Anywhere that is good for:

Tonewoods
Bodies
Necks
Hardware

...and any thing else that would be useful.

Thanks.

These guys, http://www.axesrus.com/ are quite good. Quick to deliver and have a host of bits and pieces. I bought most of my strat clone parts from them and the service was great. Good range of price points too and good advice.

These chaps - Iron Gear Pickups - could make for an interesting alternative to GFS. I found them just in time to be too late for Fran's mini-humbucker needs.
