1 Look at strings
2 Mash fingers into strings
3 Strum other end of strings
4 Declare it to be an A-major sus-47 chord of the Pentecostal scale
5 Smile with satisfaction as 98% of fellow guitarists believe you because they don't understand either

It just looks wonky in sunburst. I like that version in orange and whichever white it came in, but it definitely doesn't suit sunburst.

It seems awfully cheap, though I don't know their market value.

It took me about five years of guitar playing to notice the connection between sunburst and the image of the sun in space. It wasn't that I didn't understand it, I just never thought about it beyond 'that's ugly - I can't believe that's the most common guitar colour'.

My thoughts exact, however the pictures are very nice, and of high quality too.

Haet burst. Especially burst and tort. The only thing I can deal with slight is black on burst. But in general burst can get tae.

it ain't the burst, it's the ugly massive pickguards they put on those versions. my american special version was way, WAY hotter.

That small guard version is nice, but with the TOM, control layout and especially in trans red it just wants to be a Gibson too much. I think in Orange the original Toronado looks very good.

I think I prefer the original bridge to the TOM as well.

I had the White version of this, it worked much better than Sunburst. The black models work as well.
Once you start looking there were a lot of different Toronados made, i saw a quilted top model a few months back that i never knew existed.
Brilliant guitars, i'd still love a blue GT <haet rodders>.

I played Fran's and was very impressed with it. For a balls out Rock guitar I think it does it better than a Les Paul. A lot better.

I think for punk, alternative, heavy rock or whatever, anything humbucker driven that it is an excellent beast. Radius is a bit flat for me personally and I'm sworn to single coils but I can appreciate an effective instrument when I play one. It was very, very solid.

You know, I think I've essentially had it proven to me that Fender just designs better guitars. I have a Gibby Les Paul. And I loved it. Right up until I got my Squier M-80. That guitar is every bit the rock powerhouse that the gibby is at a fraction of the weight with a neck that is literally to die for. Fender sealed the deal for me with that guitar. I haven't picked the Gibby up since I got it, and it cost a fraction of the gibby. People who say Fender doesn't know how to make a RAWK guitar and kiss my grits. I'll probably end up with toronado as a backup since I doubt I'm likely to ever find another M-80.

I might trade you that GT. Is it the Snot Green model? Post pics or you'd probably better leave.
