maybe a 1K to 1500....And that is only for the pups. A refinished, crack repaired, 70's mustang is maybe 800 or so I would think...

absolutely. a bunch of vintage parts doesn't make a collectable vintage guitar. and this would be enough money to go to a great guitar builder and order 2-3 custom made mustangs

edit: I just saw that 7.000 $ is only the starting bid, and the BIN is more than 20.000 so I have to adjust my comparison to 7-9 custom made Mustangs

that guitar is worth $5-600 in a good market. this is not a good market, especially for poo-burst.

Actually, i have considered those mods to the Duo. That aside, that seller needs his face kicking in.

I just don't get what he's valuing it by. even the nicest all original pre-cbs mustangs don't go for that much. even if you added the value of all the parts up you wouldn't get anywhere close to that much. this guy is in total in la la land.

I think if that guy took his starting price and shaved a zero off it that guitar would be sold by now.

nah, he says they're "Original one 1950s + one 1960s Gibson Humbucker pickups." there are no 50s/60s p-100s.
