SWAMP THANG

Post by wilrecar77 »

it came today! i ordered it last week because the sheffield in my bandit started to have voice-coil rub and broken surround issues.
it isnt even broken in yet and it sounds so much better.

The highs are slightly rolled off, the bass isnt boomy even with my acoustic, but it's very punchy.
I love it. The amp doesnt look any different with it, but i will get up some audio soon.

I have a TASCAM dp-01 on loan from my music teacher that im also fiddling with.

i really had a tough time deciding between the swamp thang and the cannabis rex, but the swamp thing seemed to suit what i play better.
i just needed a very tight, aggressive, low end (cause the bandit is like completely open-backed)

I use a C-Rex in a deluxe reverb.

Got almost too much bass for me, but it is voiced nice.... I always feel like I'm doing something wrong rolling the bass back a fair way
