Haha! Also if you notice the replacement Jazzmaster body is a telecaster, odd. But funny.

they are doing a fantastic job over there.
i'm now afraid to order a jag neck from them for fear of getting one for a strat.

Maybe if you order a Jag neck and a Tele body you could build a nice Jazzmaster.

yea, the allparts site is a mess. you should use these guys though http://www.dguitarparts.com/ . they have allparts parts for cheaper than allparts.

I just received an All Parts Jaguar neck that I ordered and I'm VERY impressed. The headstock is shaped just as it should be and it is actually fairly flamey. I built a parts tele from an All Parts body and neck a few months ago and it is one of the best Tele's I've ever played. I highly recommend them. I just wish they'd make a Jaguar body (other than the "Jag/JM" body they sell that isn't routed).

Have you ordered from there before? Their site is pretty sketchy

allparts fucks me everytime i get shit from them, they either skimp me on some parts or they send shit in multiple boxes.
once my buddy in school ordered a really nice brass saddle tele bridge(6 saddles) and they sent him a cheap 3 saddle uncompensaded bridge(it was like 70 bucks less)
and instead of giving him the right bridge, re-funding him or anything like that, they just offered to give him credit.
i remember he was like, why the fuck would i want credit with a company that is just going to screw me again?
my teacher actually used to tell us not to order stuff from there when possible.

I've never ordered stuff from their website. I work at a music store and we're an Allparts dealer. So, I just look stuff up in the catalog, call them up and the stuff arrives at work a few business days later. I've never had a problem with them.

yea, that ^ right there is how I always figured they're really set up to do business. because there's no way they're making money off that web site, it's completely half assed and the prices are amongst the most expensive on the internet. I think these guys like allparts and wdmusic are used to being the only way normal folks could get guitar parts, through the guitar store. but that system is obsolete now with the internet where people can order stuff from a dozen other places. they need to wise up. they have some seriously off the wall prices for things that you can get at 10 other places for half the price.

that dguitarparts place is kinda pricey guys.....
there pickguard blanks are really pricey, like stupid expensive....
if you want pickguards, get them at grizzley.
and there neck prices are kinda high too.
they want 60 bucks MORE for a cbs maple strat neck than mightymite.
and just to verify, rob needs to chime in becuz the maple strat neck i gave him from mightymite is crazy nice!
the fret work is really nice and the overal feel is tits!

I have ordered from Allparts and had a good experience. Even had to return something and it went great. They are located in Houston, TX and since I live in Dallas, everything came quickly.
