I know which guitar you mean Gavin but I thought since this is a copy of a Fender headstock design that might have been different.

That price kinda excites me. I was expecting it to be more and I'm tempted to sell my Country Gentleman to fund the purchase of one of these. I REALLY dig these.

I don't know if I'm ready to take that step yet. It's a like new G6122II (real f-holes and no flip mutes) and I'd hate to part with it.

the demo they have up for this is fucking stupid, it explains nothing and showcases no real sounds at all.
it would be better if they just described how it worked and the switches/sound. i think they are cool, and the price is not that weird to me.
in reality its cheap....
i say this without knowing how they are building but since its a small luthier styled shop its pretty good, you gotta figure that in just wood alone its about 150 bucks, then all the switches are around 100-150 bucks.
then the trem plate, tuners, pups, wire, paint, frets(tey are on the cheapz tho)
so in raw parts its probly 600-1,000.00 on its own(depending)
that does not include hands on work time like sanding, soldering, painting, fret work, set up work, etc.
so, yeah, good price.
im afraid that i would re-wire it and get rid of the fuzz thing and probly change the pup situation.

Did you watch all the videos or just one? It's been a while since I checked out the sight, but I know I watched at least 3 or 4 different videos, one of which went through the controls in a pretty detailed way.

what a letdown.

i only saw one, a few weeks ago, and it was enough to make me not want one. it was that bad.
i still think that it would be worth re-wiring it to something more interesting, becuz really, unless it has a thunder in it, I DOES NOT WANT BUILT IN EFFECTS!

With the components they used it's kinda strange that it ended up this badly. Specs-wise it seems like it would play/ring out like a Jazzmaster, but clearly that's not the case. Perhaps it was poorly set up??

Just too much shit in one guitar. Ugly as hell, too.
